One of the significant consequences of a Dealmaking Life View is that God is constrained, even trapped.  His only ‘job’ is to uses His Omniscience, Righteousness (Just), Omnipotence, and Omnipresence (seeing / knowing everything) to properly (Justly) dispense the rewards of life and, appropriately, the adversities.  God, in this Life View, is not over the Laws of Ultimate Reality, but a servant of them.  And in this way He is in effect the servant of the “good man,” always and everywhere properly rewarding him, and, importantly, punishing all those who surround such “good man” who are “bad men,” further elevating the Good of the “good man.”  This Dealmaking Life View is pernicious and evil.

The image of God is from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican.  It was painted by Michelangelo in the early 16th Century as one panel depicting God’s Creation of the Heavens and the Earth.  This specific panel represents Day 2 of Creation whereby God separates the waters from the atmosphere (heavens):

Genesis 1:6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so.God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
